Which 3 Indian States are in Shambles as Monsoon Death Rises to 450+?

At least 465 people are reported to have been killed in five provinces of India since the start of the monsoon season due to heavy rains. This was reported by the PTI news agency referring to the data of the National Emergency Response Center under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of India.

The season of monsoon rains occurs in different regions of India from the beginning to the middle of June and lasts until the end of September and beginning of October. According to PTI News Agency, most of the people to have died were from the state of Maharashtra with 138 victims, followed by Kerala – 125 and West Bengal – 116 victims. There were 52 deaths reported from Indian PM’s state of Gujarat and 34 People from the north-eastern state of Assam.

In Assam, the flood zone caused by heavy downpours, which affected about one million people; 160,000 people were affected in West Bengal and 140,000 in Kerala. Presently, there is a rise in water levels in the rivers of northern and northeastern India, so the situation may further worsen in other regions of the country.
