40,000 Battle-Hardened Terrorists Waiting To Enter Kashmir As US Set To Leave Afghanistan

The Afghanistan War may soon to come to an end as the US and Taliban are almost ready to sign a peace deal. The Taliban and the US have reconciled and resolved their discord, but experts talking to EurAsian Times questioned what will happen to all the terrorists who were fighting the US forces in Afghanistan?

India-Pakistan Heading Towards A Nuclear War As Imran Khan Blasts BJP Government

Recently, Pakistan PM Imran Khan, speaking at the United States Institute of Peace, admitted that there are 30,000 to 40,000 militants, trained in Afghanistan and Kashmir, actively operating from the country.

“Until we came into power, the governments did not have the will to [implement the National Action Plan], because if you talk of militant groups, they still have about 30,000-40,000 people who are armed and who have been trained in some sort of a theatre, who fought either in Afghanistan or maybe in Kashmir,”

US Troops Ready To Leave Afghanistan After Striking A Deal With Taliban: Officials

Imran Khan’ statement was eventually backed by Pakistan Army COAS – General Qamar Javed Bajwa who asserted that Pakistan Army will fully support the Kashmiris in their quest for freedom and said they are willing to go to any extent to fulfil their obligations. This statement came in response to India repealing of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

40,000 Terrorists Operating From Pakistan; Did Imran Khan Forget That FATF Is Watching?

Experts talking to EurAsian Times stated that New Delhi should not underestimate Bajwa’s statement and India should be ready for both overt and covert operations. New Delhi must not forget the history when the USSR troops withdrew from Afghanistan and all Mujahideen were directed by Pakistan to fight in Kashmir and creating a turmoil in the region.

The US forces are set to leave Afghanistan and India must tread with caution and keep in mind that Islamabad is looking to retaliate to Indian actions in Jammu and Kashmir.
