After Yudh Abhyas, Indian, US Army Begin Exercise ‘Vajra Prahar’ In Seattle, USA

Vajra Prahar – A 45-member special forces from the Indian Army has commenced joint military drills with US Special Forces in Seattle, labelled as exercise ”Vajra Prahar.

The exercise ”Vajra Prahar” commenced at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on October 14. This is the 10th edition of the exercise, which is conducted alternately between India and the US to share the best practices and experiences in areas such as joint mission planning capabilities and operational tactics.

“Bilateral military exercises and defence exchanges are an important aspect of deepening bilateral defence cooperation between India and USA,” the Indian Embassy in the US said in a statement.

Earlier on September 5,  Indian and the US Army participated in a mega military exercise in Washington, seeking to boost defence cooperation between the two countries. The joint military exercise, Yudh Abhyas 2019, started on September 5 at the Joint Base Lewis McChord.

Last year, the exercise had taken place in Jaipur. “Vajra Prahar” is a Special Forces joint training exercise conducted alternately in India and the US.
