Air India has since apologised and ordered an inquiry. The Indian National carrier has also promised to vigorously fumigate and disinfect the plane. Air India, the nations biggest international carrier, is in severe debt. Adding to its miseries, the organisation has a dwindling market share, losing out to new entrants, besides carrying a terrible reputation for sub-standard service and delayed flights.
