Sri SIIM Review: Another Case of Cheating, Fraud Against Sri SIIM

Review of Complaint Against Sri SIIM College, Vasant Kunj, Delhi: Sri SIIM (Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management-Research) is in news again as another complaint of cheating, blackmailing and fraud has been reported to Vasant Kunj Police station. Sri SIIM is under the Sri SIIM Foundation Trust and headed by Dr. Swami Parthasarathy, but continuous negative news and adverse reviews of the college has plunged the reputation of the college?

Sri SIIM College: A Dicey Background?

This is the second news of serious allegation against Sri SIIM, after the case of assault and torture reported by Deccan Chronicle. The complaint which EurAsian Times has access to is registered against key management staff of Sri SIIM College, including Ranjan Sen (Director – Admissions) and Soumen Datta (Registrar and PA to Chairman – Dr. Swami Parthasarathy). The complaint has been registered with Vasant Kunj Police station, New Delhi, dated 29th August 2018.

According to the complaint, Sri SIIM  had rented its computer labs and two classrooms and signed a legal MoU for hosting online exams. However, the leaser complained to the Vasant Kunj Police accusing Ranjan Sen and Soumen Datta of deceit, fraud, blackmailing and invalid termination of the contract.

Sri SIIM Students Accuse Management of Torture and Harassment

Earlier, as Deccan Chronicle reported, students of Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management-Research (Sri SIIM) complained about mental and physical harassment against the management and Chairman Dr. Swami Parthasarathy.

They alleged the management of physically harassing the students and also accused the institute’s chairman, Dr. Swami Parthasarathy of harassing one of the female students by sending obscene e-mails and messages.
