Apple and Amazon are negotiating with the government of Saudi Arabia to obtain a license to conduct business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the event of a favorable outcome of the negotiations, both corporations, Apple and Amazon are ready for a substantial investment in the largest Arab economy.
Apple and Amazon are already selling their products in Saudi Arabia through third countries. Now both global conglomerates intend to establish a direct link with one of the promising market of the Arab state with a population of more than 33 million people. About 70% of the Saudis are under the age of 30, and they are among the most active users of social networks, Reuters noted.
