India’s Biggest Murder Mystery Still Unresolved, Suspected Parents Acquitted

One of India’s biggest Murder Mystery cases has reached the place where it had started nine years ago. Allahabad High Court acquitted Talwar couple in the Aarushi and Hemraj murder case, therefore, continuing the Murder Mystery.

The High Court acquitted the Talwar couple, it is evident that the murderer is someone else. 9 years ago on 15 – 16 May 2008 when Aarushi was killed, this murder created a furore in India and sending the investigating agencies in a state dilemma and confusion.  From the beginning till the end of Arushi Murder Case, this remained an enigma and still, the question remains, who is behind the murder of Hemraj and Arushi?

Aarushi, daughter of Doctor Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar, was killed in Noida in her apartment. The murder was executed by slitting her throat. Next day, the body of domestic help – Hemraj was recovered from the roof, after which the case became extremely complicated. Mobile of Aarushi and Hemraj were missing. What was the purpose of the murder? The weapon by which the murder was carried out was missing, and seeing this, the murder mystery became the country’s biggest murder mystery. The only question was who killed Arushi?

After Aarushi’s murder, since Hemraj was missing from the house, and he was instantly suspected but when Hemraj’s body was recovered from the roof the matter got tangled again. After an investigation by the police, the then DGP Brij Lal claimed to solve the murder mystery case and Rajesh Talwar was arrested on suspicion of the murder of his daughter, Arushi.

Today, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar are innocent of murder their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, the Allahabad High Court said, emphasizing that the court was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Indian Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)  said it will study today’s verdict before determining whether to appeal against the acquittal.
