After the killing of five Indian soldiers including two senior officials in Handwara, Jammu and Kashmir, netizens started demanding a prompt retaliation against Pakistan and cross-border has already started.

Experts talking to the EurAsian Times had earlier stated that the Indian armed forces would have to continue punishing Pakistan-backed militants with precise, ruthless cross border shellings on terror launch pads with the latest, state-of-art artillery guns.
Now reports have emerged that India and Pakistan have been engaged in heavy cross border shelling in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.

A tweet from IANS stated that – Heavy firing and shelling started on Monday between Indian and Pakistan army on the line of control (LoC) in J&K’s Baramulla district.
As EurAsian Times reported earlier today, in Handwara, North Kashmir, 5 Indian Army personnel including a Colonel, Major, along with 2 army soldiers and a sub-inspector of Jammu and Kashmir police were killed in an overnight encounter.
According to reports, Colonel Ashutosh Sharma (21 RR), Major Anuj Sood (21 RR), a Lance Naik Dinesh (21 RR), Nail Rajesh (21 RR) and police sub-inspector Shakeel Qazi were killed in the Handwara encounter raging since Saturday. Their bodies have been recovered from the encounter site.
