Azerbaijan and Armenian Leaders To Meet Top NATO Officials

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan are scheduled to meet top NATO Officials in Brussels. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is departing for Brussels on Tuesday evening to attend the NATO summit. This was reported by Turkish President Erdogan at a briefing in Baku after talks with President Aliyev, which was broadcast live on the Turkish TV channel TRT Haber.

President Aliyev is going to Brussels for the NATO summit tonight and I’m going to Brussels tomorrow morning,” Erdogan said. 

According to Erdogan, within the framework of the NATO summit, a number of bilateral meetings between President Aliyev and the Foreign Minister of Turkey are planned. Erdogan said that he hopes “during the meetings within the framework of the summit to raise some common issues and achieve their solution.”

Armenian PM Will Visit Brussels

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will visit Brussels on July 11, during which a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is planned. This is reported on Tuesday by the press office of the head of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers.

“Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will pay a working visit to Belgium from July 11 to July 13. Within the framework of the visit, Prime Minister Pashinyan will meet with the leadership of the EU, as well as have bilateral meetings with the heads of several states. He will also meet NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, “the press service of the government said.

PM Pashinyan will participate in the meeting of the heads of state participating in the mission “Strong support” in Afghanistan, which will take place within the framework of the NATO summit. Prime Minister Pashinyan’s speech in the Carnegie Foundation is also planned
