Bangladesh-India Signs Four MoU’s To Broaden Existing Relations

Bangladesh and India approved four Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) to boost the existing bilateral relations. The Foreign Ministers of Bangladesh and India were part of the fifth Joint Consultative Commission (JCC).

India and Bangladesh signed Memorandum of Understanding at the fifth Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting held in New Delhi. The Joint Consultative Commission meeting is co-chaired by the Foreign Ministers of Bangladesh and India.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed for mid-career training of Bangladesh’s one thousand eight hundred civil servants. In the field of health, the MoU was signed between the Health Ministry of Bangladesh and India’s Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy called AYUSH  for stretching assistance in the field of medicinal plants. Another Memorandum was signed between Bangladesh’s Anti-Corruption Commission and Central Bureau of Investigation of India.

India’s Hiranandani Group and Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority also signed a MoU to intensify investment in the Indian Economic Zone located at Mongla.
