After UAE princess Qassimi, did another princess from Oman threaten Indian expats with dire consequences for blasphemous remarks and demonizing Muslims?

Earlier, ties between UAE and India came under fire after many Indian origin people were detained for Islamophobic comments and PM Modi himself had to intervene.

PM Modi tweeted — “Covid-19 does not see race, religion, color, caste, creed, language or borders before striking. Our response and conduct thereafter should attach primacy to unity and brotherhood. We are in this together.”

UAE Thanks India But Ties Endangered Due To Islamophobic Comments By Expats

“The ruling family is friends with Indians, but as a royal your rudeness is not welcome,” wrote Princess Hend Al Qassimi, tweeted, referring to both the countries’ warm relations and Islamophobic attacks.

“All employees are paid to work, no one comes for free. You make your bread and butter from this land which you scorn and your ridicule will not go unnoticed,” the Princess said.  The Princess also expressed her displeasure over evolving social reality in India, where the Hindus were pitted against the minority Muslims.

Now another princess – this time from Oman, has apparently blasted India for its anti-Islam stance and a number of people have fallen prey to the fake account of so-called Omani Princess HH Dr Mona Fahad Mahmoud Al Said.

The tweet from the parody account states – “Oman stands with its Muslim brothers and sisters in India. If the Indian Govt doesn’t stop the persecution of Muslims, then 1million workers living in Oman may be expelled. I will definitely take up this issue with the Sultan of Oman. @narendramodi”

Pakistani journalists were quick to latch on to the tweet. Leading Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir retweeted the tweet the ‘Princess’ had shared.

Mir wrote – “Indian PM @narendramodi creating problems for his countrymen working in other countries statement from Princess @SayyidaMona is reflection of growing anger against Modi policies his hatred against Muslims may force friends of India in Middle East to reconsider their policies,” he tweeted.
