India forces reportedly used Hi-Tech Drones, Surveillance Helicopters and strong intelligence network to hunt down JeM terrorists in Jammu. Three terrorists from Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were neutralized by the Indian security forces as they found no local support in the area. The actions started when three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists fired at a police checkpoint and escaped into the jungles at Jhajjar Kotli in Jammu.

Police said the massive search operation was launched in the jungles of Jhajjar Kotli with J&K police, CRPF, and the Army combing the area to flush out three terrorists. The area was kept under tight cordon at night,” a police spokesman said.
“Contact was established at daybreak after terrorists were traced in Kakrayal. The exchange of fire lasted till 5 pm on Thursday. All three terrorists of JeM were neutralised. SDPO Nagrota, two officers of the CRPF, and some police and security personnel were injured,” the spokesman added.
As per reports, a local shopkeeper passed off the information to the Indian forces after the JeM terrorists entered his home late Wednesday night. This was backed by strong cordoning of the entire area and the Indian forces used all their latest gadgets including advanced weaponry, surveillance helicopters and hi-tech drones.
“They stormed our home at around in the late evening and demanded food. They took some biscuits and demanded clothes to change. They asked for a vehicle but we told them that we do not have any. Later, they left but asked us to switch off our phones and not to raise an alarm,” said a villager.
Major General Arvind Bhatia, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Indian Army’s Uniform Force, said that there was no support system for the terrorists in the area and were looking for a chance to save themselves.
