Hollywood Star Compares PM Modi To Adolf Hitler; Gets Heckled

Hollywood actor, producer, and screenwriter, John Paul Cusack’s recent tweet has drawn a lot of ridicule which attempts to draw similarities between Indian PM Narendra Modi and Adolf Hitler.

Pakistan Blasts Kashmiri Journalist Over False Allegations, Spreading Lies

Cusack posted a picture of one of the most feared historic figures, Adolf Hitler alongside the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both the personalities seem to be wearing similar outfits, which may just be a coincidence, but Cusack clearly refrained from commenting on his own comparison.

Hitler was a German politician and leader of the Nazi Party. He rose to power as the chancellor of Germany in 1933, and as Führer in 1934. During his dictatorship from 1933 to 1945, he initiated World War II in Europe by invading Poland on September 1, 1939.

Whereas Modi has risen through similar tangents of fame, ever since he revoked article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and terminated its contentious special status.

PM Modi has also been criticized (by some sections) for the citizenship amendment bill which according to his critics & opponents hinders Muslims from attaining Indian nationality.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan has consistently attacked his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi and the country’s Bharatiya Janata Party-led government. Amid the dispute over Kashmir between the countries, he has often called the Indian government “fascist” and “supremacist” and compared PM Modi with Adolf Hitler.

Nevertheless, here’s what Twitterati had to say about the Cusack’s comparison:
