Indian Army Killed 48 Civilians in Kashmir in November 2018 – Alleges Pakistan

Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir killed at least 48 civilians during the month of November, reported Kashmir Media Service which was widely covered by the Pakstan media. Indian experts talking to EurAsian Times stated that unfortunately, Pakstan considers terrorists and militants as innocent civilians.

Statistics also revealed that 196 Kashmiris were also injured by the Indian forces while 169 were arrested in the occupied valley. As part of their draconian policies, Indian forces torched 26 structures in Jammu and Kashmir.

On November 3, Indian troops martyred a mentally challenged youth in occupied Kashmir. Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal took to Twitter and said that the “genocide against innocent civilians needs to be halted”.

Pakistan continues to condemn increasing ceasefire violations by Indian forces due to which several civilians have lost their lives.

Islamabad has repeatedly urged Delhi to respect the 2003 ceasefire arrangement, investigate the incidents of ceasefire violations, instruct Indian forces to respect the agreement in letter and spirit and maintain peace along the Line of Control. However, the violation of the truce has been continuing.

Earlier in 2018, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights issued a report revealing “impunity for human rights violations and lack of access to justice” to be among human rights challenges in the occupied valley.
