The United States “disqualified” itself from the Middle East Peace Process after the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This was stated by Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas during a joint press conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron.
“From now on, the United States is no longer an honest broker in the Middle East Peace Process. We will not accept any plan (Palestinian-Israeli Settlement) put forward by the United States, “the Palestinian leader said.
