Few days back as EurAsian Times reported, the DG ISPR has reiterated the apprehensions of Pakistan PM Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi that Modi government was planning a false flag operation against Pakistan.
In an interview, Maj-Gen Iftikhar described the reason for the Indian operation, claiming that lately, the Modi government has faced great embarrassments on several fronts and India could divert the global attention by launching a ‘false-flag’ operation.
The Pakistan Army shot down many Indian spy drones, he said, adding that any Indian hostility will be countered in an appropriate manner. He went to warn that there will be severe consequences of any military adventurism against Pakistan and cautioned India: “Let’s not play with fire.”
