Imran Khan Expectedly Blasts India, PM Modi Over Crisis In Kashmir At United Nations

PM Modi started his speech by highlighting Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, which will be celebrated this year, followed by thanking the assembly for its stand on single-use plastic.

In his 17-minute address, PM Modi spoke about India 25 times, highlighting its growth and throwing light on the government’s plans for future. He touched upon issues like water conservation, electrification, and economic growth. Modi added that it was crucial for India to grow so that it could become a beacon of hope for other developing nations.

Talking about India’s achievements in the past five years, PM Modi spoke of what the world could do to fight terrorism and to save the environment. He talked about the US’ growth as the world’s oldest democracy and drew parallels between India and the USA.

Modi Does Not Mention Pakistan, Kashmir or Imran Khan

PM Modi totally ignored Imran Khan and Pakistan during his speech which was quite contradictory to Pakistan PM Imran Khan. Khan mentioned India about 17 times in his speech and blamed the Modi Government for the humanitarian crisis in Jammu and Kashmir.

Another word that was skipped by PM Modi in his address was Kashmir. PM’s 17 minutes were dedicated to India and its growth. However, PM Modi did touch upon global terrorism and war of terror. He said that it was a menace that was plaguing the entire world and it was everyone’s duty to curb it.
