Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs LG V30: The Battle of Smartphones

South Korean Companies Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics began sales of their flagship smartphones Galaxy Note 8 and V30 in the Republic of Korea on Thursday. As reported by both companies in the press releases distributed in Seoul, it is expected that new models will beat records, becoming sales hits both in the country and abroad.

According to Samsung estimates, only by pre-orders already sold at least 400 thousand devices Galaxy Note 8. This is 20 thousand more than the previous model Note 7, submitted a year ago. The current flagship has a frameless diagonal of 6.3 inches, a dual camera with optical image stabilization and a proprietary stylus.

The number of pre-orders on the LG V30 also turned out to be greater than the previous flagship model of the company G6, presented this year, the press release notes, but the exact figure is not given. V30 – the first smartphone LG, equipped with an OLED display and two cameras with glass lenses. The diaphragm of one of the lenses can open up to a record in F / 1.6 – more than any of the competitors. The manufacturer claims that the LG V30 is the perfect smartphone for fans of mobile photo and video.
