Earlier, as EurAsian Times reported, the Indian CBI searched 12 locations, including four offices of the Sify Technologies in Chennai, Noida, Mumbai and Delhi, besides the residence of one of its employees. Sant Prasad Gupta, the guardian of the question bank at Sify, along with nine other employees who were site managers at seven test centres were also named in the FIR.
SSC Scam By Employees Sify Technologies
While the specific case being investigated and probed into is the current paper leak, the real issue is might be much larger. Cases of paper leaks, mass cheating and similar concerns regarding competitive exams have been increasing, putting the whole essence and purpose at stake. These competitive exams are in a way a foundation for the very future of the country, thus in a broader sense these cases, such as the current paper leak, impacts the entire nation.
The Staff Selection Commission recruits staff who take the position at various government organisations and central departments. This is also a recruitment step for future subordinate officials. Thus individuals involved in cheating may occupy prestigious and important positions in the Government, putting the entire nation at risk.
If the new is true, then despite such a rough history of the company, FIR against ten employees of Sify Technologies and an ongoing CBI probe, how and why are the prestigious SSC examinations again being outsourced to Sify?
Meanwhile, the SSC is expected to release the SSC Combined Graduate Level, CGL Tier I exam dates 2018. As per the official notification, SSC was expected to conduct the SSC CGL Tier I Exams 2018 from July 25 to August 20. However, the dates were changed in the new exam calendar released by the commission.
