Mere 20 days after opening hearts and birders for Sikh pilgrims, Pakistan has finally returned to its evil game against India with its ministers and clerics alike giving the game away as to why the Corridor was opened.
Kartarpur corridor was inaugurated on a virtuous note to allow Sikh pilgrims to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Prime Minister Imran Khan has not been able to retrain the religious extremism and radicalism that exists in Pakistan on the grounds of religion.
In a video going viral on social media, an Islamic cleric was seen mentioning that Pakistan had been established to not allow any Sikh to enter the country. Islamist cleric Khadim Hussain Rizvi stated “Pakistan was formed from the word ‘Pak’ or pious in Islam. The dirty habits of Sikhs will not be allowed here” talking about the facilities availed by Sikh pilgrims visiting the Gurdwara.
Rizvi, founder of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, a religious-political organisation founded in 2015, has been up in arms against any change to Pakistan’s blasphemy law. “Only Mecca and the Prophet are considered to be holy in our land. The Sikhs can visit Amritsar for pilgrimage if they want to, but they should not come here,” Rizvi declared.
Experts at a talk show on Canadian Tag TV, run by Pakistan-born journalist Tahir Aslam Gora highlighted that the video is a proof that PM Imran Khan had tried rage the Khalistan’s separatist movement.
