Tube Explosion in London a Possible Terror Attack

Police in London is considering an explosion that occurred on Friday in the metro of the British capital, as a terrorist attack. This was reported on the Sky News channel by the representative of Scotland Yard.

“At the moment, we regard the incident as a terrorist attack, the counterterrorism unit of the police takes responsibility for the conduct of this investigation,” he added. Report on the explosion at the London Underground station Parsons Green was received by the emergency services at 08:20 local time.

According to preliminary information, an explosion of an unidentified object occurred, as a result of which several people received severe burns. After this, according to eyewitnesses, panic and screams commenced. The TV channel informed that, apparently, the package left in the subway did not explode as planned, as a result of which, it was possible that the casualties were avoided.
