XLRI To Open Its New Campus In Jhajjar Near Delhi / Gurgaon

XLRI is set to open its new campus near Jhajjar, which lies in proximity to Delhi / Gurgaon area. MBA aspirants from Delhi-NCR and other parts of India will now be able to pursue their MBA/PGPM Program from elite Xavier School of Management (XLRI) from the next academic session, i.e. 2020-21.

XLRI-Gurgaon is set to commence the admissions to the new campus near Gurgaon and Delhi from the coming year. A total of 120 students will be selected to the Business Management Programme, the admissions to which will begin from June 2020. Admissions will be based on XAT scores just like XLRI Jamshedpur.

In the first phase of admissions, two sections will be formed under the Business Management Programme, with a capacity of 60 students in each section. The admissions will be done for the batch of 2020-22.

The new campus has been located at Jhajjar in Naurangpur. The new XLRI campus is 25 km away from Gurgaon and is also centrally connected to Gurgaon, Delhi, and Rewari.

The XLRI Jhajjar campus in Haryana is spread over 36.34 acres of land, which is currently in the process of being set up with the state of the art infrastructure, which can cater to the needs of 240 students, in Phase-1. A Gold-level Green Building Certification has been awarded to the new campus of XLRI.

The XLRI administration will be soon putting in an application for the AICTE approbation for its new campus in Northern India. Fr. P. Christie S.J., Director, XLRI-Xavier School of Management, said. XLRI will be shortly applying for AICTE approval for its new campus

XLRI only has one campus in India at Jamshedpur. XLRI took a strategic decision to expand its footprint across the country and set up new campuses in the north, west and southern parts of India, Christie said.

The foundation stone for the Jhajjar campus in Delhi-NCR was laid on 16 January 2017. Om Prakash Dhankar, Cabinet minister, Government of Haryana unveiled the plaque of the foundation and Rev. Anil Couto, Archbishop of Delhi, blessed the foundation stone.
