Is Iran supplying weapons to Yemen Rebels? The United Nations launched an investigation into suspicion of the illegal transfer of ballistic missiles by Iran to Yemen rebels. The corresponding statement was stated in the report of the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the Associated Press, reported on December 14.
Earlier on December 14, the UN’s permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley, presented fragments of a missile knocked down by the Saudi air defense forces on November 4, which was released by the Houthis towards the international airport of Riyadh.
According to the diplomat, US military experts came to the conclusion that the missile, as well as other military equipment, presented to journalists, were produced in Iran which were supplied to Yemen Rebels.

According to the American perspective supplying weapons to the Houthis terrorists, Tehran has violated two resolutions of the UN Security Council i.e. 2216, adopted in support of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan for the Iranian nuclear program, and 2231, which provides for an arms embargo on the rebels in Yemen.
