Asia-Pacific Nations Make 20% of Russia’s Military Hardware

Asia-Pacific Nations account for nearly 20% of Russia’s military hardware order, Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Mikhail Petukhovstated stated at the LIMA 2019 arms show in Malaysia.

“Countries of the Asia-Pacific region make up a fifth of our book of orders for military products. This figure has been quite stable over the past several years. The share of Southeast Asian countries is somewhat more modest and makes up about 5%,” Petukhov said.
