The arrest comes after the ISKP claimed responsibility for the attack on a Sikh Gurdwara in Kabul where 27 people were killed. The ISIS affiliate in Afghanistan initially numbered just a few dozen fighters, mainly comprising fighters from the Pakistani and disgruntled Afghan Taliban. The ISIS is seen as an even greater threat than the Taliban because of its advanced military capabilities and radical ideology, far more dangerous than the Taliban.
