Ganguly, Imran Khan Embroiled In Controversy After ‘End Of India’ Tweet

Pakistan PM Imran Khan, in a tweet on Thursday, shared an article of prominent Indian author and journalist Khushwant Singh, who predicted where India was headed in his highly controversial book – The End Of India.

Why Did The US Suddenly Declare Baloch Liberation Army As Terrorist Organization?

Khan Tweeted – “Prophetic words of Khushwant Singh who foresaw where India was headed with its racial supremacist ideology”. Ever since the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, Imran has tweeted about the Narendra Modi government having traits of “Nazi” ideology and warned about the threat of nuclear war.

“Every fascist regime needs communities and groups it can demonize in order to thrive. It starts with one group or two. But it never ends there. A movement built on hate can only sustain itself by continually creating fear and strife… No one is safe. We must realize this if we hope to keep India alive,” reads the excerpt from The End of India.

India Looking To Exterminate Kashmir Muslims And Win The Region – Imran Khan

When it was written, The End of India had elicited fury amongst many people who termed it provocative and insulting. The book was published during the tenure of the BJP-led government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Earlier, former Indian cricket captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly found himself embroiled in controversy after daughter Sana’s Instagram post which quoted the late author Khushwant Singh, who was highly critical of the RSS.

Ganguly later clarified and tweeted “Please keep Sana out of all these issues .. this post is not true .. she is too young a girl to know about anything in politics”.
