Militant Group Khalistan Zindabad Force Says 4 Pakistani Drones Dropped Weapons From Across The Border

Militants of the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) on Thursday claimed that four Pakistani drones are hidden around Punjab’s Tarn Taran and its surrounding areas.  The Khalistan Zindabad Force is a militant group which promotes the Khalistan movement to create a Sikh homeland called Khalistan via armed struggle against the Indian government.

War-Games Conducted To Retake Pakistan-Controlled-Kashmir – Indian Army Chief

Reports recently emerged that drones were being sent from Pakistan to drop weapons. The Punjab Police is conducting a massive search operation to determine their precise locations. The information comes nearly five days after the police busted a terror module of the Khalistan Zindabad Force, backed by a group allegedly based in Pakistan and Germany.

Union Minister of State for Defence Shripad Yesso Naik said over the incidents that India is capable of dealing with any situation and the Indian Army has emerged stronger after fighting terrorism.

“India is capable of dealing with it and there is no issue of concern,” Naik said about the incidents of drones airdropping weapons in Punjab and the country’s defence preparedness.

Pakistani Drones Violate Indian Air Space; Indo-Pak Airspace Heats Up Again

The Indian Army and Border Security Force (BSF) sounded an all-out alert along the entire Indo-Pak border and Line of Control (LoC) following reports of invading Pakistani drones. The drones landed as a result of the drones’ height and weight following which the militants destroyed the carriers or hid them.

A drone has been recovered from Mahawa village, close to the Indo-Pak border in Punjab’s Amritsar. The Special Operations Wing of the Punjab Police are still trying to ascertain whether the drone is among the four that had been indicated in the KZF militants’ statement to the police.

PM Modi Totally Ignores Pakistan, Imran Khan During His UN Speech

The GPS-fitted drones capable of lifting up to 10 kg flew in from Pakistan seven to eight times to airdrop the cache of arms, ammunition and fake currency seized in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, according to a probe by Punjab Police.

The Khalistan Zindabad Force is headed by Ranjit Singh Neeta, a native of Jammu and Kashmir. He was listed among India’s 20 most wanted persons in 2008. The strength and striking capabilities of the Khalistan Zindabad Force are currently unknown, but it is reported that attempts have been made for the Khalistan Zindabad Force and other militant groups from Kashmir to co-ordinate their efforts.
