Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry responded to former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal’s tweet on the rumoured arrival of an alleged ‘Israeli aircraft’ in Islamabad a few days ago. Imran Khan is neither holding any secret talks with India and Israel nor will he ever do so, he added. If PMLN had been worried to such an extent the situation would have been different today, he remarked.
Fawad Chaudhry while signalling at Ahsan Iqbal said fake people just like him should not be disturbed as Pakistan is in the safe hands. PMLN leader Ahsan Iqbal has sought a clarification from the government on BBC news according to which an Israeli jet not only entered into Pakistani space but also stayed for 10 hours.
Pakistani President Dr Arif Alvi earlier dismissed reports regarding the presence of an Israeli aircraft in Pakistan airspace as ‘baseless’. Speaking to the media at Islamabad International Airport before departing on a three-day official visit to Turkey, the president said, “We are not establishing any relations with Israel.” An Israeli journalist earlier this week sparked a storm of speculation on social media when he tweeted that an aircraft flew from Tel Aviv to Islamabad.
