US, Russia and China Need To Stop Arms Race: Donald Trump

The leaders of Russia, China and the United States will be forced to begin negotiations on how to stop the process of a new arms race that has already begun. This opinion was expressed on Twitter on Monday by United States President Donald Trump.

“I am confident that at some point in the future, President Xi [PRC Chairman Xi Jinping] and I, together with Russian President [Vladimir] Putin, will start talking about a meaningful halt to what has turned into a major and uncontrolled arms race nearing $ 716 billion. Madness! ” – wrote Trump.

He was referring to US allocations for military needs. The Senate of the US Congress approved the Pentagon budget for the 2019 fiscal year in June at a rate of about $ 716 billion. This is about $ 82 billion more than in the 2018 fiscal year.
