Why are Bollywood Actors Serving Food at the Ambani Wedding?

Recently, leading Bollywood actors were seen serving food at the Ambani wedding. The wedding which was held recently saw top Bollywood actors in action. Many superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Bachchan were seen gracing the stage – as background dancers to the Ambani clan leading the number.

While this shocked a huge number of fans across the globe, another video emerged wherein Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan were spotted serving food to the guests at the wedding and Twitterati, once again, lost all it’s cool.

While fans were confused, Abhishek Bachchan took it upon himself to explain why the superstars served food to the guests at the Ambani wedding. He wrote, “It is a tradition called sajjan ghot. The bride’s family feeds the grooms family.”

On his tweet, other users offered more explanation. One wrote, “Sajjan goth is a Hindu wedding ritual where the groom side is seated in an arrangement and the bride’s side make sure that they eat well. The bride’s family is to make sure that they are served everything on the menu.”
