Indian-Israel Join Hands to Counter Pakistan Infiltration via CIBMS Technology

As India-Israel Defence Relations further enhance under PM Modi, India is all use Israeli CIBMS Border Management System, to protect its borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh. The DG of the BSF announced that the Indian will soon use a Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS) along 2400 km stretch of India-Pakistan and India-Bangladesh border, which is used by countries like Israel and the United States.

The Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS) is equipped with high-end gadgets and state of the art technologies. These technologies, as reported by EurAsian Times earlier, are used by the countries likes Israel and the United States to guard its borders. Such high tech border management can solve a large part of India’s security problems by keeping a check on infiltrations of not just militants but also drugs.

The Director-General explained that a similar project had been earlier taken up along an 11 km stretch along the Jammu and Kashmir border. He further added that this system will now be replicated along the 2400 km stretch which is vulnerable to infiltrations. The DG further stated that the entire Punjab border will be sealed using Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System for it is vulnerable. This is important to check the influx of drugs into Punjab. Drugs have been a major problem for Punjab.

Have a free hand to reply to Pakistan: BSF

The Director-General of the Border Security Forces also said that the Ministry of Home Affairs has given it a free hand to deal with Pakistan. The DG said that if Pakistan tries to target the BSF then it will get a befitting reply. He said that the BSF has always given strong replies to Pakistan whenever it has been on the offensive. Talking about the Amarnath Yatra and the threats around it, he said that the BSF has deployed 23 companies including dog squads to guard the route of the Amarnath Yatra.
